Dairy Queen Vanilla Cone No.3

$2,750.00

The Algonac Dairy Queen sat on the edge of Main Street at the end of the playground of the old Algonac Junior High. In the summer, we’d ride our bikes uptown and grab a 25-cent vanilla cone and then ride to the Lion’s Club pool and go swimming all day... and to see Kathy Meldrum and her younger sister Jill, who were two of the cutest girls I’d ever seen. They were always at the pool, and probably the only reason I joined the swim team.
