1950's Johnson Sea-Horse 5hp Engine

Seeing all the posts of the 4th of July Algonac Pickerel Tournament, along with wonderful photos from the boat parade, made me a little nostalgic and got me going on this drawing. I'm pretty sure almost every family living on the St. Clair River had one on their rowboat, a 1950-ish, Johnson 5hp Sea-horse outboard engine. It left this wonderful whitish blue smoke and a rainbow of oil on the water. The drawing is about twice as tall as an actual outboard engine - lol, but the great thing is, it isn't leaking oil all over my studio.
